Amazon. com Defeats Appeal Claiming It Aided Tariff Evasion The 2nd U. S. Circuit Court of Appeals has dismissed whistleblower Mike Henig's claims that Amazon.
com enabled foreign fur manufacturers to evade tariffs on products sold through its platform between 2007 and 2024.
While the court acknowledged the possibility of tariff evasion by these manufacturers, it refused to hold Amazon responsible for their actions.
