Body of 2nd Brother Who Drowned in Manitoba Lake Has Been Recovered: RCMP The body of Maximo Au Ramirez, a 9 year old boy who drowned in Nutimik Lake, Manitoba, has been recovered by authorities.

The discovery brings an end to the search efforts that spanned several days and involved an outpouring of support from local residents, emergency teams, and volunteers.

The tragedy unfolded when Maximo slipped on rocks near the lake's edge and fell into the water. His older brother, Aaron Au Ramirez, 13, jumped in to try to save him but also ended up drowning.
